Pros

The guests are the only pro to working at this company

Cons

Greedy owners, dishonest managers, you can’t get supplies needed and end up buying your own without compensation, no reimbursement for using your own car, no raises, the insurance is so over priced no one can afford it, employees are treated horribly-lack of respect & treated like they are replaceable, high turn over rate.

Pros

Building relationships with guests and making their vacations enjoyable. Co-workers before the isolation, when we were able to collaborate to help each other get answers on how to do our jobs. At first it was great to "run our park like we owned it" as the owner said to do, impossible when your hands are tied, micro-managed and you could never get supplies needed to operate efficiently - great delusion!

Cons

so many .. check your own moral compass before working for here. Do your own research on the lawsuits/judgements on this company (Wa Gov website). Job postings under Mayfield Resort on Indeed so you will not see all RV Inn Style job reviews. Owners treat employees as dispensable on a whim. Cattle, I mean customers just a dollar sign -they are not invested in people whatsoever -Pure Greed! Purchased way too many properties instead of investing in the ones they'd already purchased. Shabby properties siphon profits from the successful ones, then those suffer causing the park staff stress in holding it together with duct tape & bailing wire, all lipstick on a pig. Customers ask "WTF - why the property went downhill since "THEY" bought it?" What do you say? Undo pressure on the employees and who would want to lie to keep their job. Again, how far will you go outside your moral compass? Shady business practices, if it doesn't feel right - it probably isn't! You need to document every single communication and action with anyone; you will have situations to prove you did what they told you to do (most likely they never followed through) or you are blamed. Your only defense will be your documentation: Texts, emails + replay the recorded phone conversation. BUT they will contact you on your personal phone! Owners text/call all hours/days on your personal phone (or email the office) expecting a quick reply when you're off the clock. The company hides Facebook comments that are not positive, you can see "7 comments" but there are none or only glowing ones. They removed the ones showing rats STILL infested at one property, others with garbage piled all over, dumpy trailers, dangerous trees, water issues, some without power - people been waiting months to be fixed. Just ask AI to run a deep review. This job is very stressful, day to day fear of getting fired, hostile flaming emails and moving goal posts - An offshore call center was brought in to do your job and hijack your sales - they will still want you to meet their unattainable goals. Not to mention the pile of daily TPS reports. (eyeroll) Desperate to fill their parks with near transient "warm bodies" so they collect rent and let the places go to disrepair. Hard finding vendors that will work with them due. Moved on from this toxic dumpster fire with my morals intact - Pass the popcorn!
