Pros

Can’t think of any other than people here usually stay for decades.

Same as above, the lifers and long timers are set in their ways. Can’t teach old dogs new tricks The software suite is a total piece of crap. Outdated and very buggy, engineers or lack thereof to fix the bugs which makes it unsupportable. Very angry customers as a result of the buggy software. Some bugs and tickets remain open for years. While the bugs remain unfixed, they keep introducing new features. Some won’t work and become new bugs. Director of technical teams is a project manager with no technical background. The director rants on and on about politics and how many software issues there are, but does nothing to address them. Hear the same things every week in the same meetings.

Decent paying side job, flexible hours

Cons

Absolute nightmare to get paid. You WILL have to complain in order to get paid, and you will most likely have to complain more than once in order to get the answer you need. I still haven't been paid for work done months ago! Everyone that reads this with a similar issue needs to do what I did and bring it to the attention of the state labor boards.
