Pros

In my eyes what I’ve seen is an inclusive, diverse and FUN work atmosphere- from the Restaurant Support Office down to the restaurants. Having fun is in the mission statement… and Canes owns it. I was floored at the amount of perks there are for crew… Tuition reimbursement? How many other restaurant brand offer something like that? My previous employer didn’t.

Cons

I asked some of the crew I’m training with what is their least favorite thing about working for Canes for the last 3 years… Their answer: “we can’t get overtime” To which I replied: “so your least favorite thing is that you can’t work more?!” Their reply: yes

Pros

Friendly co workers and supportive team in general. Lots of free merch,+1 dollar per hour past 10pm

Cons

No breaks or shift meals, asked you to stay late every shift and got offered Amazon gift cards as extra compensation for various favors like covering late night shifts at another location or coming in early or staying late to deep clean the store, and I never received an Amazon gift card nor did any co worker who was made the same offer.
