Pros
- if you’re lucky, you will work with an amazing team who will do more for you, then higher management ever will.
Cons
- you will never feel appreciated and higher management will expect the absolute most from you every time. doesn’t matter if you have other more important commitments (such as uni) it is what they want. - if they decide to make you redundant, they will wait until the last possible moment (even when you have made them aware of the changes that are needed to keep the customers coming). will be extremely shady regarding pay once redundancy happens. - extremely toxic atmosphere to work in - they will find as many legal loopholes as possible to say ‘they are doing everything correctly and just’ - they barely ever promote from within the company, saying that anyone who is already hired will not have enough experience to be a manager when they have done the role for long enough (also unwilling to train them to do a higher role) . they will pay minimum wage for staff when they want them to have sufficient experience. - if they want you to help out another site, you will be expected to pay for travel yourself - It is not worth the mental and physical effort to work for this company, you will be stressed, overworked and underpaid for the majority of the time. - their higher ups will always send HR to sort out any problems and ‘fix them’, while changing nothing.
