Pros

- Product can (at times) be really effective and be a massive help to both businesses and homeowners - Work/life balance - 'Culture Club' tries to improve the culture and bring people together - Lots of room for progression and cross training (mainly as so many people leave but there are always opportunities) - Creative thinkers at mid-management level - Onboarding/training

Cons

- Everything is based around the company reaching sales targets and ebitda -Huge focus on increasing the sales function & money through the door. - Disconnect between Senior leadership team and the core workforce. - Budgeted pay increases for certain teams/departments do not match up with company line that figures are better than ever - Same issues plague the customers experience despite these being fedback for multiple years. Customers not being able to contact homeowners, fake jobs, rigid 12 month contracts, questionable sales techniques - No BAME members of the senior leadership team - Incredible rate of staff turnover

Pros

There are some nice people.

Cons

The company suffers from a severe lack of structure and focus. Decisions, especially regarding product updates and new plans, are made without proper consideration of their impact on both clients and employees. Leadership appears disconnected from the reality of the organization’s state and struggles to involve relevant stakeholders and teams effectively in projects. There’s a tendency to view challenges through rose-tinted glasses, ignoring systemic issues that need urgent attention. People Operations is ineffective, with inconsistent treatment of employees, further eroding trust. Additionally, there’s a noticeable absence of company culture, leaving employees feeling unvalued and unappreciated. Overall, it’s challenging to see a sustainable future here unless drastic improvements are made.
