Let go due to COVID-19. A week before we were laid off, the manager of our department told us not to worry and that we had plenty of other projects to work on, if we were to see our workload slow down. The manager constantly assured us that our jobs would not be in jeopardy yet the following week, our manager sent someone else to be the bearer of bad news and inform us that we were being let go from the company.
