Pros

The lunchroom marketplace was convenient The AZ location was near a lot of shops Friendly staff Always something new to learn New ways to prove yourself and make a name. Friendly, low stress office Generous salary

Cons

Things are constantly in flux. It's hard to catch your bearings. No one seems to know what's happening or how the systems work. There's not much transparency between corporate Australia and the US team. My new hire paperwork said that I'd have insurance after 60 days. They pushed it back to 90 to fit with their open enrollment. At around 93 days I started to run out of medicine so I had to nag them a bit. Still took another week or so before I got my insurance cards.

Pros

Pay is okay. Plenty of work to do so the days go by quickly. Generally a quiet environment to work in. Nice sized desks with plenty of cabinet space. Training is pretty good and is on-the-job training which is what I prefer. Hands-off management approach is nice - as long as you're doing your job, your manager won't bother you, and in fact you'll hardly ever see him.

Cons

Bribery scandal has hurt the company's reputation and profitability very badly. Customers are leaving one after another and there are no new customers out there to replace them due to a general lack of enthusiasm for traffic cameras right now. As a result, there were two rounds of layoffs during the time I was there. Turnover is high due to the boring nature of the job, the bribery scandal, loss of customers and layoffs. Constant mandatory overtime week after week is ridiculous and very taxing on employees. There's very little chance to move up in the company if you're a Verification Processor because they don't want to lose anyone from this team because they know it's going to be very difficult to replace you because very few people want to do this type of work due to its tedious nature. The QA team is understaffed and overworked which makes this part of the job even worse since QA in this job is already very boring and tedious because you're not actually doing any processing yourself but are simply looking at videos of violations that someone else processed and approved.
