The following is based solely on my personal experience and perspective of working at Reef*: In my opinion, the work environment within the creative team was challenging, marked by interpersonal dynamics that felt more individualistic than collaborative. I often encountered what I perceived as office politics, with behind-the-scenes discussions seeming to play a significant role. From my viewpoint, turnover appeared to be unusually high, with many employees leaving or being let go unexpectedly. This observation is also reflected in other reviews on this platform. One of the biggest challenges I experienced was the difficulty in aligning on strategy and creative direction. There seemed to be numerous decision-makers but a lack of clear leadership to unify the team’s efforts. Additionally, the team consisted largely of younger talent who, in my opinion, may not have been fully prepared for their roles, leading to some confusion regarding responsibilities and operational dynamics. This review reflects my personal experience and is not intended as a definitive account of the company’s work environment.
