Pros

This is a relatively easy job. Training is long and boring, but you’re going to peoples homes and sell them vinyl flooring. You can make decent money as long as you’re getting good leads. Work life balance is reasonable. Local management is willing to let you set your schedule around your life, which is very nice. I am a former employee however I want you to know. I am writing this review as honestly as possible.

Cons

There are many cons to this job. First of all the leads are terrible. Many one leg appointments, tons of appointments in very low income areas that are very hard to sell. You will drive a lot with zero gas reimbursement. You will not be compensated if you go to a lead even 75 miles away and they are not there. That is on you. No opportunity for earning bonuses. You will be very micromanaged. The Louisville store has had three different managers since they opened 10 months ago.. The worst part about Refloor is that they are not as honest as they try to make themselves seem. They have a very good five star review rating but that is because they train their employees to get five star reviews before the installation actually happens. It’s unfortunate that so many customers are actually willing to do that.. Refloor does anything to get the sale they will even undercut their own employees. They’re not honest about their promotions. They will tell customers that they have one week to get free installation and then that promotion goes away and they will re-implement the same promotion the next month. If you don’t make a sale in the home and the customer wants to think about it a call center will call the customer and reduce the price of the sale to the very bottom dollar so the sale gets made but the sales rep doesn’t make any money at all. Unless Management likes you (they did like me) you will not get good leads. Refloor only gives leads to the sellers they perceive that are doing better. They’re LVP is insanely overpriced. They are telling customers they are getting a much higher quality product than they really are.. I’d be careful before signing on with Refloor check other companies. You might have better luck. This is a very typical high-pressure 1, touch clothes sales position.

Pros

I’m new to the Refloor team, and the whole hiring and training process has been amazing. I feel very well supported and it’s clear that they only hire top quality people. I’ve been on several sales appointments with the flooring specialists and the training they receive prior to interacting with customers really helps set the team up for sales success. The sales people, flooring products, guarantees and the technology used in the home makes it easy for customers to see why they should buy from Refloor. The company is growing rapidly and there are tons of opportunities for advancement.

Cons

None that I have seen so far.

Pros

Good atmosphere. They provide snacks and drinks for the team. They celebrate employees by creating recreational events.

Cons

The software we utilize for calls is Five9 and unfortunately it does effect the daily performance of call center agents due to the technical difficulties.
