Pros

lots of great colleagues in lower levels some interesting project opportunities good work life balance

Cons

- Highly unprofessional senior leadership culture - Many underqualified people in senior roles- minimal accountability to deliverables (which aren't getting done) and so this goes unnoticed - A culture that is almost entirely resistant to any change and extremely political, leading to an ineffective work environment. Moving any project forward outside of clinical trials themselves is near impossible.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexibility of work hours.

Cons

If you're in the wrong group, it's a struggle to get autonomy even when you ask for more oversight of a group or project because micromanaging is an issue. I feel trapped where I am and growth has been stagnant. They also hold a mistake against you for years. Management afraid to give constructive criticism.
