Is this your company?

They don't care about employees. Big bureaucratic company trying to work like a "startup" and failing it - Anonymous employee Rego Consulting Employee Review

Pros

Remote first company. No other pros

Cons

Full of meeting and no asynchronous work gets done. Management is stuck in its ways and is really slow to achieve anything. They talk about the culture being great and no one ever leaving and that's not the case. They terminate contractors with no prior feedback or warning, just send an email with termination with no explanation or anything. It's really hard to be motivated, since the business revolves around a CRM that has more years than America. Definitely not somewhere "cool" to work, you can find something more modern and less bureaucratic. Also really important to note, they don't care about the people. They are just resources and you will be fired without cause any day. Management is nice, but also really conflicting. Got to do overtime for sometime and didn't get compensated for the extra hours. Employees favor those who are family or close to Management

Pros

Genuinely caring leadership, high degree of trust for employees to get their jobs done and act independently. I felt very empowered working there.

Cons

Sometimes too informal with leadership and standards. No real advancement opportunity, you're just doing what you do there. Could be a pro if that's all you want.

Pros

Our roles allow us to be creative within the boundaries of our clients needs. Can be really fun at times creating things for clients. I work with some amazing folks and really appreciate them elevating my knowledge and being supportive. Really helps when coworkers are willing to help as it makes for a positive work environment.

Cons

Need a better way to improve balance in assignments. What I mean by this is don't solely focus on hours worked. Just because I only work 8 hours on one client doesn't mean I only have 8 hours of work for them. It means given all my other clients I was only able to support them for 8 hours given my capacity. It's also me choosing not to get burnt out so I reduce my hours in some areas. Look at % allocation and is it realistic. Capacity vs. Demand. Working as a billable consultant and having to keep track of time worked when you have multiple clients can be very cumbersome. 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there . The folks who only have 1 to 2 clients have it made. Those of us with 6 plus are all over the place nickle and diming our time.
