Pros

nothing, i’d say the pay but i didnt give it enough of a chance to get a full wage

Cons

before i start i'd like to clarify i have worked at amazon, DHL, yun express, all look like dream jobs compared to this. I went for a shift, a training shift at nottingham ng15. The trainer was nice at first, but when we got to scanning, he appointed another regular worker to look over us and our scan rates. 300 an hour is the rate which is 1 every 12 seconds, me and another trainee timed ourselves, we did on average a parcel and bag scan every 5 seconds, The other worker looking over us kept telling us to speed up just because we were talking. we even tested it by speeding up when talking and slowing down when silent, she only approached us when we sped up but were talking and said we are too slow. The trainee with me left, he had enough, the trainer then came back to me after hearing the other trainee complain and explained scan rates, i said to him is it 300 an hr, he said yes, i said i did double that (he agreed that i passed) then he said "scan rate isnt how fast you scan a parcel, its how fast you move your body" thats when i had enough, its very clear that they will change the rules based on not making their older workers look bad, regardless of if you talk, or do whatever, if you hit over 300 an hour you pass. and i dia, but they still said we were too slow. Trainer then started swearing at me when i proved him wrong, so i left the building. Very toxic

Pros

- True Ownership: Given the opportunity early on to have a real say in how the business operates and evolves - Actually Data-Driven: The data team is central to many of the company’s biggest decisions, with real influence across the business - Fast Growth: Strong growth trajectory for both the company and the individuals within it - Opportunity to Learn: The pace of learning is unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere in my career. Analysts get exposure to complex operational problems and are trusted to drive meaningful change - Great People: Highly motivated, collaborative colleagues who genuinely care about the work and the impact they’re having

Cons

- Changing Priorities: Priorities can shift fast as the business evolves, which comes with the territory of a high-growth startup but won’t suit everyone - Not Everything Is Polished: Speed is valued highly here, which creates a lot of momentum but also means some systems and processes are still maturing

Pros

Having a great time working at this company, mostly due to the growth mindset instilled into us. If we can find a solution in any part of the business we can reach out to those involved and help fix it. Everyone is on board with the mission and every day brings new and exciting challenges. There are SO many office perks such as a cycle-to-work scheme, free office lunch on Fridays, the highest level of Bupa medical coverage and sports clubs that are expensed. The offices we're at have very helpful concierge who keep the snacks stocked and always greet us with a smile. Regarding professional development, as the company is quickly growing if you show your talents and work hard you will be compensated.

Cons

Only gripe is that we are growing quickly and have moved offices three times in the past two years, Inevitably that comes with growing pains but they have always been with serviced offices with plenty of events on throughout the month.
