Pros

Work from home business model.

Cons

- Frequently missed pay periods with little to no communication. - Misrepresentation of benefits like RRSP matching. - Failed to give laid off employees ROE for months, most having to go through CRA to rectify the situation. - No ownership when it came to financial responsibility, often blaming no pay on clients and absolving themselves of any part in it.

Pros

- Was a great environment when Relish Studio's was small. - Great team members [can't say enough about this]! Great Senior Management in the Toronto office. - Solid Clients who appreciated our collaborative approach. - Vacation and Benefits were half decent and included a closure over the Holidays. - Very fair and flexible WFH policy especially after the Pandemic. - VP of Production was pretty much hands off letting Producers run their Projects but was always available if needed to provide support or to bounce ideas off of.

Cons

- Too heavily focussed on IP Originals at the expense of investing in proper New Business resources against the Service end of the business [Which funded the IP]. Ended up relying too heavily on RFP's. - Expanded staff too quickly and not the proper hires at time. Did not cut the passengers/ deadwood at high salaries quick enough. - No yearly New Business plan for Service. - Needed to pay closer attention to financial investment into IP and how that was performing overall vs the rest of the business and it's health.
