Pros
The only pro is it’s really hard to get fired. Even a senior manager who was reported to have sexually harassed women was prioritized and kept. An alcoholic remains on staff that deals with customers and applications. They do not cross train so it’s extremely hard to take vacation without taking work with you.
Cons
Pay is terrible, management is horrible, old equipment, old technology, extremely late deliveries and not customer oriented, zero diversity, women were only hired after a former employee sued the company after being sexually assaulted and having no one to go to because all supervisors are men. Very misogynistic, CEO owns a massive amount of shares so he isn’t going anywhere even though he is a terrible leader. Does NOT care about the plants in the US even though that’s their biggest profit margin. They are not IS considerate. The UK employees are paid much higher and have much more vacation and personal time. There is inequality across the board. I’ve literally had an incentive check bounce after deposit.
