You’re only valuable if you don’t try to do a good job. Working hard isn’t rewarded here. It only leads to more micro management and teams who don’t trust each other. They only reward nurses who often time take advantage of a very biased “PACE” program. It doesn’t reward the actual team, in fact it destroys the team concept. There are often times, labor laws that are violated and applauded. I’ve personally been left without a lunch or break so many times and it’s the nurse who gets told “you getting a pay raise” for such outstanding work.
