Pros
Benefits are nice, and the hours are good. Pay is also ok depending on your department.
Cons
This place is practically unrecognizable from what it used to be. During the pandemic, this was a phenomenal place to work. Company was awesome, work was awesome, team members were awesome, it was just a fun place to be and you not only felt like you were actually making a difference, but that the company actually cared about you too. Now? It's as if the only thing the company cares about now are profits. The culture has become incredibly toxic. Between the increased pressure from upper management, new policies from HR that make things more restrictive and demanding, MULTIPLE rounds of layoffs, larger amounts of work being shoved onto smaller numbers of people, team members being stressed out, supervisors being stressed out, people getting fired for things out of their control, and ANY semblance of ACTUAL appreciation being taken away in favor of cost-cutting. It's just created a horrible vicious cycle of misery. The unfortunate byproduct of the above has also affected other things in a really bad trickle-down effect as well. Every department now just blames other departments for problems, no-one takes ownership over anything, there's much more pressure to meet deadlines which causes even MORE stress when things don't go EXACTLY as planned, the planning itself has been screwed with to try and push product out the door to maximize quarterly profits (which makes the previous point even worse), everyone now wants to quit, nobody's happy, and some people have actually WISHED they'd gotten laid off just so they could get the severance to NOT work there anymore. It's just a horrible, horrible cycle that drains significantly on people's work-life balance. It's a real shame too, because I used to love this place.
