Pros
You will get to travel for free, when the flights are not oversold. You will get some flexibility in your schedule, eventually.
Cons
This company does not value you as a human being. Period. They will regularly screw you over, and treat you less than the pilots. The pilots are not treated well either, for reference. You are punished for calling out sick, even with a doctor's note. You will regularly get paid less than half of hours you work, especially when there are delays. And there are always delays. A coworker was just paid 3 hours for 28 hours of duty. This shouldn't be LEGAL. You know why no one wants to work here, and why there are delays, Bedford? The turnover rate is unmatched, because we are spit on and treated like dirt by the CEO/ upper management. Our pay is low, our contract is almost 10 years expired, we have no incentives to pick up work because you took away our red pay, we have no minimum day pay, and more worker benefits that should be included but are not. YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED BY A HUMAN BEING BY ANYONE but your coworkers--FAs and pilots, and by the trainers at HQ because they don't want you to quit immediately.
