Pros
Open to almost all LGBT community. Great place to work and volunteer, if you like to feel like you're walking into a meat market everyday.
Cons
Lots of toxic politics and favoritisms. Managers and Directors pretend they care about the employees. The right hand does not know what the left is doing most of the time. The brand new building is to attract big donors. Clients with HIV/AIDS are not welcome there, they are stuck in a refurbished old building that used to be a church. African-American and Hispanic employees are considered token employees. Finances are shady, not transparent as they should be. I overheard a straight supervisor saying "this place is run by lesbians.... " Staff and volunteers are not educated on transgender people and issues and tend to get very uncomfortable working along them. A lot has changed since new management took over. Make sure you're sexy, young and good looking to get hired....
