Pros
I'll admit that my standards going in were low. Like, "I'm good as long as you're not literally breaking the law" kind of low. So I spent my first week or so meeting people and waiting to find that one person you really don't ever want to deal with. Or to see a huge red flag. But that never happened. People have been really nice and the executive team has been really supportive of project ideas I've had. But that doesn't mean you never know if you're doing a good job or not - this is one of the first positions I've had where management has taken an interest in my work and helped me goal-set. Probably one of my biggest pluses is the industry. I love being part of a team that helps people and cares about helping people. I love that there's always more to learn about the subject matter.
Cons
One thing I will say is that sometimes it can feel like new initiatives are a bit impulsively decided on without a bigger conversation or considering the extra time it takes to work on more things. That can really end up making my days longer sometimes.
