Pros
There are some smart people that work here, and if you are smart you will find them and learn from them. There is potential to grow your skill set, but you cannot rely on any help from the company for it. Everyone feels the same about their job here so you wont have to worry about complaining about it because so many people already are.
Cons
It's pretty simple, if you are not a family member then you are completely out of luck. While the company likes to yell loudly about it's "awesome culture" and "benefits" it is all coming from an individual that is completely out of touch with reality, and was told from the beginning of their business that employees only steal and cheat. Definitely a sentiment that they wont admit to publicly, but is absolutely shown in the way the company is run. Unfortunately there is a clear us against them mentality that both management and the employees feel. It is truly sad how out of touch the owners are and how they try and bandaid how their employees feel with quick fixes usually driven by money. Things like breakfast and frozen yogurt runs are cool, but when your employees are all having conversations about how poor the process of working there is, a genuine want to correct the issues is needed. Since the owners feel like their employees are just being greedy and are ungrateful they come up with excuses when smart and talented people leave the company (which is a trend that is always happening). If you are part of the family you will have fantastic success whether you are qualified for it or not. If you are not part of the family you can work here, but you wont be happy and it will be a constant struggle. There is no one that works there, that is not part of the family, that truly enjoys working there. This is not an exaggeration even though so many wish it was.
