Pros

- Health and wellbeing comes first. This is a company of openness and kindness. Conversations are not flat, but sometimes go deep. - Location is ideal for those who excel in the beautiful outdoors. The Kootenays are simply beautiful. - Cross functional teams. Company is really embracing flat org and cross functional teams. - Starting to tap into data driven decisions. The company has empowered us with very powerful tools like Tableau to help with making informative decisions. - We get to build awesome products: a marketplace and SaaS tool. - I really like that we're changing the world: the company vision is really about getting *more* people on *meaningful* retreats - to heal, or have deeper connections.

Cons

There's a lot of learning involved when first coming into the company and it may seem overwhelming. The products have years of complexity built on top so it may seem daunting at first - but give it time and everything will solidify.

Pros

- Open and transparent company culture. There are no secrets here, and everyone is encouraged to be open and honest about everything - Flexible schedules and work locations - It puts humans first. Everyone is encouraged to bring their whole selves to work and not have a firm work life / personal life divide. Everyone is very understanding about struggles and commitments outside of work - It's not a company where you are expected to work 50, 60, 70 hours a week. They promote a good work-life balance, and are understanding and supportive of family life, kids, and other commitments - It's not a profits-at-all-costs company. They value slow, sustained, manageable growth that makes sure their employees are taken care of - We work on products that are meaningful and contribute to a better world

Cons

- Some may be disappointment with the lack of certain benefits (eg. retirement plan). As a small company, I think they're working towards offering more benefits - The software is complex and can take a long time to figure out how to use, but eventually everyone gets there - Sometimes the openness of the company can be stressful, like worrying about things you can't control. Overall, though I think the openness contributes to the great company culture
