Pros
Can work whenever you wish and from wherever you wish
Cons
Some projects require a lot of research time on Google and you are NOT paid for that time. This of course shortens the time you have to take on more jobs to earn more money. The pay is usually about 40 cents a minute (due to a 5 cent raise recently) with difficult audio higher. The reason it is not a good job anymore is because years ago there were hundreds of jobs on the board and this kept me working all day 5 days a week. Lots of jobs to pick from and enough to go around. Now, I am lucky if I sign on and see 20 jobs on the board, and many days there are only like 7 or 10. Now mind you, Rev has THOUSANDS of people working for them, not the paltry 200 it states on their site here. So imagine thousands of people vying for the 20 jobs on the board and you get the idea of how fun it is to work for them now. I used to make very good money. Now, I make less than half of what I used to make because there are way too many people (I wish they would stop hiring!) and not enough jobs to go around apparently.
