Pros
- Intellectually open culture. Vigorous, respectful debate is the norm. Everyone is encouraged to speak their mind, regardless of seniority or tenure. - The business is growing quickly, but at a manageable pace. Leadership is thoughtful about the impact of growth/hiring on company culture. - There are plenty of interesting challenges to take on. - The company operates with "just-enough" process -- enough to provide a level of structure and predictability, but not so much as to feel stifling. - People actually like working with one another, and have each others' backs. - Flexible work-from-home policy, and a respect for family/personal life.
Cons
Some pretty standard startup growing pains (e.g., meeting rooms are at a bit of a premium; could use some more clarity from management on KPIs). But leadership is mindful of these issues and is making efforts to fix them.
