Financially unstable - - Anonymous employee Rian Immigrant Center Employee Review

Board is not connected to work of staff and generally do not seem to understand much of what the staff do to meet the organization's mission. That would not necessarily be awful, but there was serious financial mismanagement that caused the sudden layoff of about 50% of the organization's staff, at a terrible time for immigrants in our community. Many staff were given 24 hours notice. Two Executive Directors were let go within the past 2 years.
