Pros

You can really make a difference for some of the kids. Most of the staff are also trying their hardest

Cons

Dangerous, multiple students have violent behaviors and there is insufficient training to handle them. Directors are terrible to staff. We got told at every staff meeting about how we were taking too many sick days, and that we should be upset with the people taking sick days

Pros

- Clients are an absolute joy to work with - Great and consistent training is provided - Angie (Day Program Director) is caring, understanding, and an incredible hard-worker. She has done an amazing job completely revamping the Adult Day Program. - Staff works together to overcome every hurdle, no matter how difficult - Communication is pretty good, in my opinion, between staff and administration - Open communication is welcome, where concerns can be raised as needed - So much room for creativity in how we approach leading the day program with the clients - Room for growth within the company is possible - Coworkers are very caring individuals and truly work well as a team. - All driving is with company vehicles, which is nice. You won't ever have to use your own vehicle. - The benefits provided are pretty nice as well.

Cons

- Driving. SO MUCH DRIVING. Hiring drivers has helped lighten the load, but having to pickup and drop off clients and still have time to complete notes without going into overtime is nearly impossible. - We get asked to clock out on time, and reprimanded when we stay late to finish notes, but then get reprimanded for not having notes finished, its too much some days. - Sometimes administration does not hear concerns from staff, though they try. There were a few incidents where staff felt that administration did not have their backs. - The pay doesn't justify the amount of work/stress.

Pros

The program manager works with you if schedule conflicts occur. Nick and Delania care about their employees and their well being.

Cons

4 to 5 people work at Meade house and 6 to 7 people work a Fortune house a shift. Some leads are professional some are not. Lots of gossiping and whispering in all areas of the house. Write ups are frequent at Fortune house but not Meade. Mostly guys work at Fortune house and all women at Meade house. There is a group of friends between houses and they gossip about who is not in the group. Mostly young and professional but immature employees.
