Pros

Coworkers, Decent Benefits, Remote, walk my dog

Cons

Following the acquisition by Risepoint, there was a noticeable shift in company culture. Many long-tenured employees were laid off without prior notice, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty. Leadership appears to prioritize superficial elements—such as company jingles shared during town halls—over meaningful recognition of employee contributions and accomplishments. The current work environment lacks a clear cultural identity, and many employees feel a persistent fear of job loss due to frequent organizational changes and evolving processes. The management style leans heavily toward micromanagement, which can be discouraging for those who value autonomy and trust in the workplace. While the company advertises attractive PTO policies, it’s important to look beyond the surface. Those seeking long-term stability and a supportive work culture may want to explore other opportunities.

Thank you for your years of service and for taking the time to share your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoy working with your team and that the remote work environment provides you with the flexibility to walk your dog. It sounds like our evolving organizational structure may be unintentionally causing you some discomfort. We encourage you to help us do better by connecting with your manager or a member of the People Team to discuss your feedback and recommendations in further detail. And although we are disappointed that you do not enjoy our Fireside Chat jingle as much as we do, we hope that you will continue to attend these optional sessions to stay connected to leaders and updates from across our organization.

Pros

The company has a 1 week shutdown between Christmas and New Year's every year that is a nice addition to an above average PTO and holiday policy. Individual teams are knowledgeable and effective when given the opportunity.

Cons

Regular layoffs with high-performing team members being let go in mass organization restructuring without logical reasons. Each layover seems to target older employees or those with more tenure. There is a disconnect between the contributions employees make and the visibility those contributions receive at the leadership level. Frequent team restructuring creates uncertainty and makes it hard to build momentum on long-term initiatives. Organizational changes often feel reactive rather than strategic, leaving employees to absorb the impact without clear communication. Roles and responsibilities can shift without corresponding adjustments to title, compensation, or headcount support. There are instances where workplace dynamics favor certain voices over others, which undermines collaboration and trust. The company risks losing institutional knowledge by not investing more in retaining and advancing its top contributors.
