Pros

-Great team members. -End of the year shutdown.

Cons

-Low pay. They claim they are in the top 3rd for pay. A quick search for other jobs in similar positions will prove that you can start at $45,000-$50,000 easily. I don't make even make that! If you meet all the expectations of your position your merit pay can still be under 2%. -Micromanaging with new call software! The new call recording software will flag you for every little thing you don't say or if you don't say it in the words they want you to use. It is NOT always appropriate to ask for a referral, but you will be flagged if you don't. -Lay offs. A lot of layoffs with zero notice to employees. They have admitted they expect more as they continue their "migration". -Strict "script" they want you to follow now. Having to ask for an application walkthrough each call is offensive to the students. If you are seeking higher education and online education surely you can handle beginning an online application. I have literally been laughed at on the phone for asking this more than once. -The reorganization of the company has gone from true student support to how many contacts can we make a day. The days of caring about the students are long gone. This is just about metrics.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve found value in your team and appreciate the year-end time off, but we also recognize your concerns and understand they reflect real frustration. We know that recent organizational changes, including system updates and process shifts, have had an impact on how some teams operate. Our intention behind these changes—including the adoption of new software—is to create consistency in the student experience and ensure we're meeting the high standards our partners expect. That said, we also want our teams to feel trusted and supported and appreciate your feedback on how you are experiencing this shift. Regarding compensation and layoffs, we remain committed to staying competitive and transparent in our practices, even as we navigate the challenges that come with evolving our model. We recognize that transitions like these can be incredibly difficult, and we’re continually working to improve how we support employees throughout them. We appreciate your dedication and the thoughtfulness behind your advice. Feedback like this helps us keep a pulse on where we can do better.

Pros

Having spent the past year at Risepoint, one of the things I appreciate most is that the organization genuinely values people. There is a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and creating an environment where employees can do meaningful work while maintaining balance in their lives. The mission is important, but so is the recognition that the people advancing that mission matter too. For professionals passionate about education, workforce development, healthcare, and creating opportunities for others, Risepoint offers a chance to contribute to work that has lasting impact.

Cons

Amazing and inclusive workplace for all

Thank you for sharing such a warm reflection on your first year. It's genuinely encouraging to hear that collaboration, inclusion, and a sense of purpose have defined your experience so far. Those are the result of the people here showing up for each other every day, and you're a part of that. We're especially glad that our mission has resonated with you. Doing work that matters, alongside people who care about it, is something we think about a lot when it comes to the kind of environment we want to build and sustain. Knowing that balance, growth, and meaningful contribution are coming through in your day-to-day experience is exactly what we hope to hear. Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for the energy you bring to the team. We're grateful to have you at Risepoint and look forward to continuing to grow together.

Pros

Strategy at the surface looks great. The engine is interesting and effective, albeit the avenues of growth are quite limited—a great place to work on several interesting projects simultaneously.

Cons

Chaotic Decision-Making, No thoughts given by Exec Leadership to Change Management, Sequencing, and scaling things. Operations suffers from Poor Exec Leadership, a lack of thoughtful execution, and proper planning. Some parts of the organization are being run as a fiefdom. No processes and micro-management. No work-life balance.
