Pros
Honestly the co-workers and our members (customers) were the only reasons that I stayed at all. Good benefits but those are slowly eroding.
Cons
Rivermark lacks structure and qualified leadership. There is a lot of infighting on the upper levels of management and a lack of focus and direction overall. Many Managers lack the appropriate skills and motivation to support their Teams and complete their own tasks but are rarely coached or removed regardless of their performance. Management can also be very chummy and it can be difficult to get support or advice when dealing with an issue with another employee or manager. They seem to promote individuals to higher positions that they are unqualified for and to not provide the training or support these individuals need to properly lead their teams and departments. They used to have more support for a work/life balance but have cut that back dramatically for most employees (rarely letting employees work from home even when appropriate.)
