I don't even know where to begin with. They try so hard to look like something they are not beginning with the positive review in here which were written by request from the manager in order to have a digital presence on glassdoor.
Let me go through the proper list of negative things about the place but bear in mind that this relates to the team that works there and not the overall company since the best people to work with are actually working from other countries and the company is small and have a local team of like 5-7 people.
- Toxic working environment: The behaviour that the employees (most of them) have with each other is disgusting with things like gossiping and spying on what you do to tell over to management in order to look good to the "boss"
-Salary and benefits: Wage is below market average and working hours are long besides the fact that they even have an HR so your manager is the HR....better ask about the notice period because you might realise something interesting.
-Appreciation: You won't feel appreciated at all because it feels like you are just as good as you deliver what the manager wants and the way they want.
-Manager: Unprofessional and borderline toxic the way the manager tends to handle certain situations putting people against each other.
-People: Apart from a couple, the rest is not trustworthy and you just better watch your back because behind the smiles you'll get to know how they really are. Also, some, particularly the ones in senior roles, are arrogant and have a lot of hubris so it`s just draining working with them.
-Career opportunities and learning: It's minimal considering that you'd have to put up with everything mentioned and just agree to all conditions that the manager establishes in order to be in his good graces to progress.
Overall, what I can say is that if you care for your own mental health or with you just go to work and don't care about working with toxic people, this is the place for you to work and can't wait till I finally leave. I've seen people leave for different reasons over the past couple of months and now I can see better why was that.
One last thing, the role description on Linkein is a joke because they ask for so many skills and don`t pay or even recognise the effort you put in so you are just as good as the moment you don`t deliver what the manager asks.
