Pros

The office is nice and more informal culture...that's as far as it goes but doesn't get deceived by that.

Cons

I don't even know where to begin with. They try so hard to look like something they are not beginning with the positive review in here which were written by request from the manager in order to have a digital presence on glassdoor. Let me go through the proper list of negative things about the place but bear in mind that this relates to the team that works there and not the overall company since the best people to work with are actually working from other countries and the company is small and have a local team of like 5-7 people. - Toxic working environment: The behaviour that the employees (most of them) have with each other is disgusting with things like gossiping and spying on what you do to tell over to management in order to look good to the "boss" -Salary and benefits: Wage is below market average and working hours are long besides the fact that they even have an HR so your manager is the HR....better ask about the notice period because you might realise something interesting. -Appreciation: You won't feel appreciated at all because it feels like you are just as good as you deliver what the manager wants and the way they want. -Manager: Unprofessional and borderline toxic the way the manager tends to handle certain situations putting people against each other. -People: Apart from a couple, the rest is not trustworthy and you just better watch your back because behind the smiles you'll get to know how they really are. Also, some, particularly the ones in senior roles, are arrogant and have a lot of hubris so it`s just draining working with them. -Career opportunities and learning: It's minimal considering that you'd have to put up with everything mentioned and just agree to all conditions that the manager establishes in order to be in his good graces to progress. Overall, what I can say is that if you care for your own mental health or with you just go to work and don't care about working with toxic people, this is the place for you to work and can't wait till I finally leave. I've seen people leave for different reasons over the past couple of months and now I can see better why was that. One last thing, the role description on Linkein is a joke because they ask for so many skills and don`t pay or even recognise the effort you put in so you are just as good as the moment you don`t deliver what the manager asks.

Rocketer Response

What a dispiriting piece of feedback. After discussing with the team, our group’s view is that the sentiment of these comments does not match our experiences of working at Rocketer. No feedback of this type has been given to us by an active member of staff in the past, and what’s more, we hold exit interviews with all outgoing personnel, and this has never come up in those either. That being said, all feedback is an opportunity to learn and grow, and our team intends to explore these comments further to see if anything does need to change. --- If any future members of staff are reading this thread, we would like them to know two other things; 1. Contrary to this post, we have an external HR consultant who oversees processes, and provides a safe avenue for any anonymous feedback staff may need to give management / one another. There has never been any negative feedback of this type before. 2. Before anyone joins the team, we always ensure they speak 1-2-1 with multiple members of the team, with no management present. This would provide plenty of opportunity for a candidate to make their own mind up about the accuracy of this post. And finally, despite not agreeing with this person’s feedback, the team wishes them well for the future.

Pros

I’ve had plenty of opportunities for growth and development, and there’s always room to expand my skills. The company places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, and I feel appreciated and valued for the contributions I make. The team is friendly, motivated and always willing to help.

Cons

Occasionally, the workload can get overwhelming during busy periods, but it’s manageable with the supportive team environment.
