Managers are petrified of senior management, and it shows. Managers will not have a single tough conversation with you or give you any feedback. I didn’t even have weekly check-ins with my manager for months at a time. Project plans can change weekly. They hire and fire people based on whims. Departments are cultural ghettos. People only hang out with people from similar ethnicities. Unhealthy culture. They hired me from a stable job. Less than a year later, decided they didn’t need me and fired me. No warnings, no probation reviews, no performance reviews.
