Pros

The compensation and benefits are the best parts of this role. They pay very fairly and have very good insurance at competitive rates. However, the cons so vastly outweigh the pros that it's no surprise the turnover rate is quite high. If you don't mind being treated poorly and only care about bringing in a paycheck, this might be a good fit for you.

Cons

I am writing in reference to how things were at the time of my resignation. Management is poor with little to no unity in decisions or expectations. The merge of two companies in early 2020 has resulted in a work culture that leaves employees feeling like they are working for two different bosses and are not sure how to prioritize -- and no matter which boss's project is given priority, there will be repercussions from the other side. My teammates and I were working extensively and trying to handle a workload that was far more than our small team could manage, and were often told that we needed to do better. Even though I often came in early, usually worked through lunch, and took work home on multiple occasions, I was still treated and talked to as if I weren't doing enough. I routinely worked 50/hr weeks just to keep my head above water due to a massive workload with a team that kept quitting due to work conditions. Management does not handle themselves professionally around employees and talks down to them. I regularly witnessed my superiors calling other employees inappropriate names and speaking poorly about them with no filter; I have no doubt that they are said the same things about me, and tenfold after I resigned. There are no outlets (such as an HR department, etc) to address concerns to, so the problems are not brought to light and have to be endured until someone breaks and quits.
