Pros
The one biggest pro, your coworkers are, 9 times out of 10, awesome people. Some you see more than others (management pretty disconnected from workers, departments split throughout the building). It’s just unfortunate that they’re all so great, because the building breeds toxicity. They’re all miserable and you probably will be too if you work here.
Cons
Could write a book but I’ll give the cliff-notes because it’s everything you need to know…. if you looked into the company and thought “this is too good to be true” sadly you’re correct. I ignored lots of red flags, and it’s important that you don’t. Cons: - Toxic culture - Young employees given far too much responsibility - Work inexperienced employees to their breaking point, for far less pay than they deserve - High employee turnover - Don’t actually value their artists or production employees, even though they act like it to meet sales goals - Inefficient training for new production practices - You’ll have to fight for every promotion or raise, hard work is not valued and they know who they can take advantage of - Loyalty is nonexistent - They make people feel uneasy to speak up. I’m still afraid to even though it’s been awhile since I worked there - Frame honesty as “negativity” - Sad that a company with such a rich history is not living up to its potential - Value profit over quality
