      Pros

      Corporate and technology functions at Root are full of smart people that grind. Leadership expects a lot, there is never a sense of status quo at Root. However, you will learn and grow a TON. A year here can feel like 5 years anywhere else in terms of exposure and growth. If you're the type of person that likes to be challenged, you will like it here.

      Cons

      Some aspects of Root can be inefficient in terms of decision making. Often times it's unclear who is the final decision maker and we can spend too much time in making the final call on something that was relatively clear to the people that were proposing it.

      Pros

      Has been the best employee I've had throughout my career, and by far the best insurance company. They are transparent, they care about employees, and if you do your job there are opportunities for growth all over the place.
