Pros
Have big territory that’s it
Cons
I don’t even know where to begin to many to list but I’ll try: No laptops /tablets for sales people ( this makes it extremely hard to even do job, you will get phone calls constantly about status of patients equip and you have no way to even look you have to call branch and find out constantly) Low base pay Unreasonable expectations for sales goals( if rotech had a good reputation in the market this could be different but everyone hates dealing with them they only send insurance they are contracted with and have to send to ROTECH you get 90 days to be hitting your goals this is unrealistic especially when you have hospitals with own dme You are expected to be with 70% of quota even if on vacation no excuses whatsoever even if you are out of town All sales ppl feel same way and are constantly worried about getting written up if not within 70% of goal, this creates terrible culture and a revolving door for sales people but this is the stance the leadership has decided to take like I said there are much better jobs out there Mileage reimb is laughable You don’t get paid mileage unless you drive over what it takes you to get to branch and back to home address With such low base pays they rope ppl in by promising high commissions but don’t count on getting commissions too much corporate is always trying to figure out ways to cut it. Before I even started they had already taken away points on products and raised goal for bonus! Everyone at the company knows it is mismanaged from the top down, they create terrible culture threaten your job, don’t give you time to grow territory, training is joke give you a few powerpoints then say go sell and remember most hospitals you can’t even walk into because of Covid!! Good luck in your job search if Rotech calls you run before it’s too late
