Pros

Customer service, working with some great customers and some fantastic co-workers.

Cons

Very numbers oriented, I understand that there is a very necessary business side, however there were times where it was very clear that making as much money as possible was the only thing that mattered to the company. I saw firsthand how techs that might not have as much integrity as others sell more, and therefore cement their security with the company. Even techs that cause extensive damage to homes and property outlast those who never caused any, but didn't have the drive to sell a customer on a fix that isn't necessary. Roth will say they give options and don't push a customer in a direction. I know first hand that techs would say things were broken when they weren't, so that doesn't leave a lot of options. I learned a lot from working here and have found that other shops are not run the same way. Turnover is very telling of a companies culture and Roth is always hiring due to the tumultuous environment that employees find themselves in. I'm happy I was able to find better opportunities elsewhere, and have never written one of these about a company before. I just want others to know what to expect. The first six months are not too bad, and then it progressively gets worse. I was really excited about what I had hoped would be a long tenure with Roth, it became apparent though that we were not aligned when it came to morals, and values. Integrity is one value that is grossly missing, from the selling of work, to covering up mistakes, to the managing of people. there are much better environments for skilled techs to work in, find a different one.
