Pros
Diversity of work. Interesting customers and projects. Intelligent Staff and Co-workers.
Cons
Poor Management. Unrealistic Deadlines. Zero Managerial Accountability. Lackluster bonus/Compensation system. Extremely Long working hours (50-60 hour weeks are expected for some projects). Project managers who misquote hours needed for projects will blame their engineers if the deadline is missed, but take praise if the engineers work 60+ hour weeks to meet the deadline. Rampant nepotism. Very high turnover. Extremely limited vacation days. Mediocre insurance/benefits. Blatant Favoritism. Treated as a "Resource" not an Employee. Most new hires are fresh out of college so that they don't realize how poorly they're being treated compared to other companies in the same field. I could go on, save your time and look for a company that appreciates their staff
