Pros
1.The team was welcoming and helpful 2.Work life balance
Cons
1.Onboarding was unorganised, after a week you’re left to get on with it. 2. CEO is very patronising, if she is managing you, you will feel that you’re walking on egg shells. She will give task and no follow up and if she is following up she will tell you that she didn’t give that task. Making you feel like you are not doing your job properly. 3. Interviewed for a different position in the company but was given another role which needed more attention. Having started the role it’s not made clear what is required of your position. 4. When there is a lack of help the excuse is that it is a start up company but having worked in another start up company I realised the company is just not equipped to train or help new employees. 5. Due to the work load the CEO has she will expect you to know it all and as I did not no it all I was told unprofessional I have not passed my probation and to reach out to my recruiter. Having confronted her a probation meeting was held and I was then told that I will not pass my probation leaving me working there for 3 months anxious and depressed that I will not have a job in the company. 6. The company promotes DEI as their service but there is no DEI within the business. 7. Having started working at the company individuals within the business voiced their concerns and said nothing will change! The turn over is high before me I have noticed several people have worked there and have left the business. 8. Depending on your position be prepared to have unrealistic targets if you do not have a network within the business. 9. Working outside of contracted hours for networking events and not being reimbursed or having flexibility of starting later for work.
