Pros
- For Mumbai office, this is an amazing place to be atleast for the next few years. - All jobs in Mumbai are created by terminating the contractors/vendors and laying off the USA employees. - With the focus of the org. on cost cutting, Mumbai is getting a huge boost in terms of hiring + office infra + longevity - People in the Mumbai office are also mostly good and not too micromanaging. This does have exceptions - one or two "leaders" have a tendency to unnecessarily poke the employees for small things - pickups / drops depending on the SHIFT timings. However the app used to book and then club people for a drop is really badly managed - flexible timings - spend 5 hrs in office and then leave early and log in from home. A lot of employees use this and effectively WFO 5 hrs between 1-7 and then go back home to login again. - free snacks, free fruits, free tea and coffee, and finally free dinner(veg and non-veg). However the quality and taste is not as good as one would expect.
Cons
- location: it is in the middle of the highway near the metro but for people who live where there is no metro, the travel becomes horrific! - ONE day is WFH, FOUR are WFO (this could be a pro or a con as per individual choices) but they should make it 3 days WFO and 2 WFH since most people have to get on calls with their counterparts across the globe. wasting time in travelling to sit in office doesn't make sense - Lot of layoffs and contract terminations means that KT/Handover of products have not been done properly. Current people are left to fend for themselves while trying to figure out what's what. - There are too many people hired in high positions and designations and they seem clueless. A lot of work is thrown on people in the lower designations
