Pros

- Nice office locations with open floor plans. Fun parties, summer boat trips, weekly happy hours - Recent grads can learn about what they want out of a recruiting career here and the company has a decent reputation for when you want to move on. - Great clients if you land on the right team. Make sure to ask what and who the team you're interviewing for actually hires for. If there is an indication that "the company" works on certain clients, push to understand if this team itself actually does because some managers will use the big names that other teams work with. - You will make long term friends here (probably from shared trauma) - There is room to create your own path and you'll often be inspired by some of the ideas an initiatives they push

Cons

- Misleading comp structures. When it was based on commission, the sales reports were convoluted and didn't disclose what you'd be seeing in your paychecks. They changed the structure to be higher bases plus a "discretionary bonus" which added even more smoke and mirrors. God forbid you ask for clarity or simple equations on how this is calculated and you will be made to feel dumb for asking. You could know exactly how much you were bringing in and see barely any of it but due to COVID, they don't really pay these bonuses out anyway. They will claim a lot of the money goes to overhead and you'll be disappointed when you see expensive new art or a drink machine is delivered. - You are expected to go to the CEO if you have questions/concerns about compensation versus your manager or even finance. That level of micromanagement is not only intimidation, but entirely unnecessary. They really like to cut middle management out of most conversations and if you have a more junior manager that isn't in OGP they will not have much voice to advocate for you. - Finance makes mistakes ALL THE TIME. This team can be rude and defensive when you address these errors as if they don't make them all the time. - There is a lot of drama here. Probably because it is mostly recent grads and money hungry sales people, which is fine but they haven't navigated how to balance that yet. They just repeat that they only hire "fully formed adults". It's incredible when you leave and realize just how inaccurate that is. There are some very gossipy leaders here so anything you expect to be private absolutely will not be. - Titles are thrown around like crazy. It's most difficult when you have a micromanager who doesn't let you take on new responsibilities with your title. Worse if they don't know what those responsibilities should even be themselves. - There are loyalists who do little to nothing but continue getting promos and somehow sliding by this way for years. - Leadership. It has thinned dramatically in recent years and I have to assume it's because change is never made. There have been major recommendations around how the company is run but they fall on deaf ears. This company has so much potential to be better and Leo won't let it happen. - They jump to desperation mode when they know people are unhappy and offer the world. Unfortunately, it's usually too little too late and they spend time appeasing someone who is going to leave anyway, while continuing to neglect the people who still have a shred of hope left.

Pros

Quick on-boarding Clients were good

Cons

Contacts were not quick to respond unless the company you work for contacted them At random times a paycheck could be missed and it would be up to a week before you got it
