Pros
Worked for SAS for over 12 years now. Benefits are great, co-workers are mostly awesome and the general atmosphere is very good. SAS offers plenty of options to grow and move up career-wise, so long as you actively chase opportunities. Definitely recommend SAS as an employer.
Cons
Large company with a strong focus on keeping shareholders happy, even though they ironically are (still) privately owned. Recent years have seen a shift from a local, country focus to a globalized focus. That has definitely had its downsides. Overall nothing worse than happens in any public company.
