Pros

This company promotes a happy, healthy work environment with employee benefits to match. Weekly boot camps, massages, dog walks and lunches create a positive and supportive work environment. Laura and Scott are above and beyond generous with their employees and want to make sure that if you are doing a great job, they will notice. I don't have a dog yet, but it is nice to have other dogs around in the office when there are stressful days for comfort. They are so dog-friendly that if you want to adopt a dog from the local shelter, they will pay for the adoption fees. How cool is that? There are many other benefits to working at ScotteVest, too many to list in fact. Overall, if you do your intended job, there is no reason not to love working for this company. Best place I have ever worked for to date.

Cons

Nothing about the company, but rentals in the area are a little hard to find, and they are expensive.

Pros

Generally when a workplace touts itself as drama free and dedicated to honesty, those statements are so dry you could start a fire with them. In my experience, however, these are genuine traits of the SCOTTeVEST atmosphere. Being able to bring your dog to work with you (and being able to take them out when they need to go) is great - you know you're not leaving your best friend alone at home crated all day (and your trash will stay safe at home while you're not there to guard it). The friendly atmosphere encourages and fosters actual friendship with your coworkers through weekly get togethers outside of work (a company perk includes the company covering costs for food and drink at a local bar - with excellent food, might I add - when 3 or more employees are together). The product is worth selling! As an employee, you also get a small clothing allowance every few months so that you can acquire some of the clothing to wear whether at work or in your personal life. The area is beautiful - if you're in to hiking and adventuring and skiing, it's the perfect location.

Cons

The area is a little remote - it's about an hour's drive to the closest Walmart, so you'll need to learn how to minimize shopping trips. Meetings with management can prove frustrating if you are not accustomed to being spoken to bluntly. Not rudely - but bluntly. Typically, they are quick to the point rather than dragging out the conversation.
