Pros

Nice office. Incredibly talented, hardworking, and creative young team members.

Cons

The company presents itself externally as progressive, liberal, and aligned with Gen Z values—but this is misleading. Core values are quickly abandoned for money. Expect to be significantly overworked while being underpaid. You will often take on the workload of multiple roles, yet be expected to deliver consistently high-quality work under unrealistic deadlines. There is no genuine work-life balance: you’re expected to work outside of standard hours; evening and weekend event attendance is often required depending on the role; overtime is not compensated financially—only with Time Off in Lieu. Senior management fosters a toxic and cliquey environment: leadership is often unsupportive, petty, and lacks proper training; employee concerns are not taken seriously; inappropriate behavior is common—gossiping and making jokes about staff can often be overheard. Company perks have been significantly reduced since HR joined—only the legal minimum remains. A recent round of layoffs saw 15 employees let go, highlighting the company’s treatment of staff as disposable. Additionally, all these positive Glassdoor reviews are fake, do NOT believe them. And the company seems to be deleting any negative reviews.

Pros

Working at SCREENSHOT allowed me the opportunity to grow within my role. Being given so much creative freedom and opportunities that i would not have been given working at a larger company are some of the most desirable things about working there. In addition, the people SCREENSHOT hire are wonderful, young and genuinely talented individuals who create an amazing and fun working environment that you look forward to each day.

Cons

Like most start ups the company felt understaffed at times, but this was always addressed and understood between departments.
