Pros

The first week I joined, I was immediately tasked with designing and executing a ground up solution to a mission critical problem necessary for some investor demo's scheduled for the following week. This is why I love working at Stocked Robotics. You will own 100% of your work, and the challenges will be tough and important to the company. It is fast paced, but there is no whip cracking. Leadership will push hard for progress, as it should, but they are reasonable and will listen to you and your needs. The product is cool! This is very exciting work in a field primed for explosive growth. Clients are very interested, and they want to see the company succeed. The culture is well balanced between hard work and focus, and life in between. Leadership is very in tune with the pitfalls of startup culture, and is active in equal opportunity hiring practices. They want to avoid toxicity at all costs. The company has a large and notable selection of advisers and clients. If networking is your thing, you could get to meet some very interesting people.

Cons

It is still a small company, so you can expect to wear a few hats. You may be pulled from work for more pressing priority tasks that might fall under your umbrella. Vacation and sick leave seems standard as far as I know, but you aren't gonna get unlimited PTO here. The current office is small! This will likely change soon.
