Pros
Some genuine and hardworking employees who are a joy to work with. Office located downtown, right off of the CTrain line. All office functions had lunch or snacks provided, safety meetings and department meetings included. Company had a couple of well equipped fleet vehicles for field use. Company paid for and arranged all H2S, Safety and First Aid courses as required, and provided all equipment needed for safety in the field.
Cons
Certain employees can be very cliquey and wont share work effectively amongst other employees; management does nothing to combat this issue. Owner suddenly changes office rules to better benefit himself and employees he considers his personal friends. Owner blames his shortcomings as a leader and manager on his employees, and has wrongfully terminated employees because of this. Owner has alienated the company from industry due to ineptitude and shady business practices, making work scarce. Some employees have gone several years without receiving an employee review or raise. Benefits program was not very beneficial.
