Great learning experience and great team

I have found no cons.

The staff is pretty small so you develop one-on-one relationships with all the writers and editors. Interns sit in on morning meetings and quickly learn the flow of the office.

You will transcribe staff writer interviews a lot. So if you're not up for that don't even apply. You definitely must be a self starter or you're end up being bored a lot. They don't always just give you things you do, so having story ideas and pitches is a plus.
