Pros
I want to start by saying that if this is your only chance to get your foot in the door for a tech job. Take it. The people are great besides upper management (VP's, President, CEO). You will get an opportunity and experience that is valuable but besides that this is where the compliments end.
Cons
First of all they will lie to you. A LOT. They will promise you the world, high pay, future career, secure job. Let me tell you something. Don't believe them. Very few people are benefiting from this company They are not loyal. They don't value their employees at all. The CEO treats this place like a money printing machine and even told everyone to go work at Mc Donald's once because he got tired of everyone complaining about the low pay. As soon as you get here my advice to you is to begin working and studying so you can get another job while still working here. Never stop applying because you never know when they will drop you. I've seen them fire people that worked for them for 10+ years without a second though. These people invested in not only their time but their finances into the company and they didn't even give them a chance when they let us go. The CEO tries to trick you into wasting your life here and investing years saying it will pay off and let me tell its a lie and anyone thats invested time into this company is miserable and is either stuck here or trying to get out. All the VPs literally have no power int this company and are basically at the mercy of the CEO George and you can even see the trickle down effect with how the VPs micro-manage everyone. This company was going down hill when I left and was losing literally every contract they've had. TBH they deserve it. They reap what they sow and they've acted so high and mighty because they got all their contracts from referrals (Let that sink in) and only started implementing business development once they ship started sinking. Now I'm working at a company that actually appreciates their workers and let me tell you the difference is like night and day.
