Pros
SSM Health lives its mission - "Through our exceptional health care services, we reveal the healing presence of God." The focus of everyone - clinicians, staff, leadership, volunteers - is done for the benefit of our patents and families. This is the best place I've workied to-date.
Cons
As the realities of healthcare consolidation take hold, SSM is going through growth pains as local facilities with their own identities transition to the broader brand. While that doesn't take away from the services provided to patients, it is difficult for the staff and clinicians.
