Pros
-Flexible work times and hours to fit a student schedule -A good amount of independence and ability to take initiative (on the other hand, if you are inexperienced this could make things more difficult) -Resources available (spaces, funding etc) to run programming -Progressive values overall -Opportunities to engage students and partner with other groups on campus
Cons
-Annual turnover in supervisors (elected student executives), who often lacked expertise in the area of sustainability, and did not have much experience with management or time to supervise student staff -Political debates and differences can impact the work environment from year to year
