interesting projects, chance to apply a variety of skills from design to production, chance to connect with suppliers and manufacturers relevant to the design/build industry
Cons

Business outlook
Pros
Stacklab is trying to do something important in the field of design that is worth being a part of. While I feel there is a nugget of truth in some of the negative comments here- long hours, very high expectations - they are not a fair assessment of the business or the management. Instead, I think these comments were written by some of my former colleagues for whom Stacklab was not the right fit.
In my experience, management is very willing to listen, and very willing to implement needed change to suit the well being of the team. I had access to management and coaching throughout my tenure. I would say to succeed, you must communicate openly and be committed to regularly delivering a high quality of work.
I wanted to write this because this job was a tremendous opportunity for me, and I grew as a result of being a part of this company. It is a good (always improving) company that is trying to build a strong team for the purpose of doing great work.
Another thing worth noting is that the compensation is fair and on market; the benefits are quite good and excellent work is well rewarded.
Cons
At times, the level of responsibility you will have at Stacklab will keep you up at night and you will be asked to do more than what you were hired for. With that said, no request was ever unreasonable.
You will be challenged on the decisions you make and will be held to a very high standard. Sometimes it can be very hard. But that is also why it is so rewarding.
