HR strongly promotes workplace “harmony.” When concerns about a manager’s behavior were raised, the response was that experienced employees should be able to manage the situation themselves.
Cons
Employees were expected to handle problematic management behavior on their own rather than receiving meaningful support. At times, it felt as though speaking up led to subtle pressure to stay quiet instead of seeing the underlying issue properly addressed.
